What is the traditional purpose of a signet ring?

Historically, signet rings served as a personal seal, often engraved with a family crest, initials, or other identifying symbols. Used by nobility, royalty, and officials, signet rings were a mark of identity and authority. Traditionally, the raised engraving on the ring would be pressed into wax or soft clay to sign documents or letters, creating a unique imprint that verified authenticity.

Can I customise my signet ring with an initial or crest?

Yes, many customers choose to customise one of Jeremy's designs with a unique initial or family crest.

I don't know my ring size

If you don't know your ring size you we will send you a ring sizer after you place your order free of charge. Just make sure to click this option in the 'size' drop down menu.

If you are ordering your ring as a present or for an engagement and you do not know their ring size please order the stock size by leaving us a note when you place the order. This way you can send the ring back for re-sizing after you have given the gift.

We will not charge for re-sizing if the ring size fits within our sizes that are already available. If the finger size is larger than average then an additional charge may be applied for extra materials.

Can I customise a piece of jewellery?

We use a variety of high-quality precious metals, including gold, silver, platinum and precious gemstones. Each piece is handcrafted to ensure unique designs and exceptional quality.

All of our metal, where possible, is sourced from 100% recycled materials.
